A-Type Standard Products
| By selecting capacitors that have safety margins (borders), shorting caused by excess die attachment material is prevented. The key advantage of having a border is the prevention of shorting at the chip edges, even with very thin capacitors. As a result, a high operating voltage can be used in thin capacitors, and a wider range of sizes can be selected from. The border eliminates electrode lifting at the edge of the ceramic during dicing. In addition, the border relieves thermal stress and enables us to make a highly reliable design. |
