DC Power Sequence Boards for GaAs FET Amplifier
| Our power board design combines multiple functions on a single board to regulate supply and control the power needed for GaAs FET operations, and it only requires a positive power supply. |
Our DC power boards are designed specifically for GaAs FET amplifiers. We integrate on a single board a positive drain voltage, a negative gate voltage regulator with internal DC/DC converter, and a GaAs FET protection sequence circuitry.
Inputting positive power to these power boards, outputs both a regulated positive voltage for the GaAs FET drain supply and a negative voltage from the DC/DC converter circuit, allowing it to be used as a GaAs FET gate power supply. In addition, this negative voltage is utilized as a sequencing mechanism to turn the GaAs FET drain positive power ON and OFF. The sequencing is designed so that a negative voltage must be present to supply a positive output, so no negative means no positive. This sequencing protects the GaAs FET from being damaged.
We offer several power board designs that include ones that regulate the positive voltage side, ones that outputs the input power unchanged, and ones that only supply negative gate voltage. Some boards also come with added features such as TTL control and/or mechanically adjustable outputs.
